Local planning note: prices, schedules, weather-sensitive operations and entry rules can change. Confirm current conditions before non-refundable decisions.

Day 1 — keep arrival simple

Flight delays, immigration and baggage can move your schedule.

Use the remaining time for beach, river, food or massage instead of a major prepaid attraction.

Day 2 — Ba Na Hills

Give the mountain enough time for cable cars, Golden Bridge and the main zones.

Keep the evening easy after returning to Da Nang.

Day 3 — Hoi An

Leave after lunch, optionally include Coconut Forest, then continue into Hoi An for sunset, dinner and lanterns.

This is more efficient than making two separate trips south.

Day 4 — protect the flight

Use cafés, shopping, massage or a short city stop and keep a generous airport buffer.

Do not put a long-distance attraction right before departure unless timing is very safe.

FAQ

Questions travellers ask

Can I see Da Nang and Hoi An in four days?

Yes. Da Nang works well as the base.

Can I add Cham Island?

Yes, but reduce another activity or add a night to avoid rushing.

Should I sleep in Hoi An?

Optional. A Da Nang base is simpler for a short trip.

Should Ba Na Hills be on departure day?

Usually no; a flexible final day is safer.
