Where to change money
The UK Foreign Office says you should only change money at official counters with a clear sign. Changing it elsewhere is illegal, and you risk losing the cash.
Cash you must declare
Declare amounts over 15 million dong, or over 5,000 US dollars or the same value in another currency, when you carry them in or out.
